A Saint Tropez inspired painting, reminiscing a vintage french riviera feeling in a soft nude. The muse is drawing a 5-petal flower that is inspired by Brigitte Bardots signature flower which she always draws in her notes and personal mail. The Saint Tropez sand (from the beach: “La madrague”, & also a song of Brigitte Bardot) in this painting brings this work to life and makes for a fascinating texture.
This work is a unique, one-of-one painting by Montana Engels, created entirely through her signature hand-painted stripe technique. Through carefully painted lines, the image appears abstract up close and gradually resolves into detail as the viewer steps back.
