Terra is painted with in a soft terracotta colour with sand and shells from the Maldives. From up close the painting looks abstract with an earthy feeling to it. Rough sand, tiny shells, grain texture and sandpaper feel. But when looking at it further it becomes an ever so elegant painting with a calm and grounding feel to it. The contrast of the painting up close compared to the painting from a distance makes it mesmerizing.
